THE public is being asked for their views about the future of a Lanarkshire hospital.
A series of public meeting are being held to discuss plans to either replace or refurbish University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie.
NHS Lanarkshire will outline the clinical case for change, the challenges of building on the existing site compared to a new site and why an alternative location at Gartcosh emerged as the favoured option.
Graeme Reid, Monklands Replacement/Refurbishment Project director, said: “I would encourage people to take part in the consultation by coming along to our public meetings or completing our online survey."
