TRAIN services from Glasgow Central are now back up and running after a person was hit by a train.
Police were called to Priesthill and Darnley train station at 5.31pm.
Rail information showed certain trains are cancelled up until 6.30pm this evening.
ScotRail staff have confirmed the train line is now open and trains are running again.
ScotRail staff tweeted earlier: "Sadly due to a person being hit by a train, services leaving #GlasgowCentral may be cancelled / delayed / revised."
Police Scotland officers were at the scene and British Transport Police also attended.
ScotRail said passengers for Barrhead could use Neilston services as there is a bus shuttle service, operated by Swift Coaches, between these two stations.
Stagecoach ticket acceptance was also in place on the Glasgow - Kilmarnock: Services X76 / 337
