A man has appeared in court charged with murder following the discovery of human remains at a property in Paisley.
Kevin Bishop, 32, was reported missing on Saturday August 4 and police confirmed his death on Tuesday.
David Collins, 46, was charged with murder when he appeared in private at Paisley Sheriff Court.

He also faced a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice during the petition hearing on Tuesday.
Collins, of Paisley, made no plea and was remanded in custody, the Crown Office confirmed following the hearing.

The case was committed for further examination and he is expected to return to court next week.
The court appearance came after Mr Bishop's remains were discovered at an address in Schaw Road. He had last been seen in Well Street in the Renfrewshire town.
