A MAN has been arrested and charged over an alleged abduction attempt in Glasgow.
A 21-year-old woman was at a pedestrian crossing in Charing Cross around 5.30pm on Tuesday when a man approached her and allegedly directed her towards a parked car.
Police launched an investigation and a 30-year-old man has now been arrested and charged over the incident.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
