SCOTTISH cops are cracking down on drug use at a music festival featuring Idris Elba this weekend.
Groove festival will be held on the shores of Loch Ness on Saturday, with camping available until Sunday morning.
And officers and organisers say they are working together to clamp down on drugs.
Police Scotland event commander Chief Inspector Colin Gough said: “We are working with the organisers of Groove and partner agencies to deliver a safe event.
"We hope that everyone attending has an enjoyable weekend and we ask for your support to make sure it is memorable for the right reasons.
“Our focus is always to keep people safe while preventing disorder and anti-social behaviour in order to make the festival enjoyable for all who attend.
“A proactive drugs operation will be in place to ensure the event is held safely and officers will take a robust approach against an activity of this kind."
Mr Gough added: “There is no safe way to take drugs and we work closely with the event organisers to enforce a zero tolerance approach.
“Officers will be site throughout the event and I would encourage anyone who needs their assistance to speak to them, a steward or welfare staff.
“Please follow the sensible advice available from the organisers of Groove and partner agencies in order that to help make the event a safe and enjoyable event.”
