A BIKER let go of his handlebars and sped along a Glasgow road with his arms outstretched.
At the city's sheriff court, Ryan Burns admitted failing to keep proper control of the bike.
The accused's lawyer explained that the 25-year-old had been riding for some time and needed to stretch out his arms and shoulders.
The defence agent accepted that Burns should have waited until he was stopped at traffic lights. He didn't – and unfortunately was spotted by police.
The incident happened along Cathcart Road on March 22, 2017.
Sheriff Tony Kelly fined Burns, of Swisscot Avenue in Hamilton, £150.
The accused also had his licence endorsed with three penalty points.
