A SEARCH has been launched for a man who disappeared while attending a hospital appointment in Inverclyde.
Anthony Milligan, from Greenock, was at Inverclyde Royal Hospital but left before he could be seen by medical staff.
The 39-year-old was reported missing to police around 4pm on Monday.
Mr Milligan is said to have been dealing with personal issues recently.

He is described as around 5 ft. 8 inches in height, with a stocky build, fair complexion and short brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing a red top, blue jeans and a green Nike jacket.
Extensive enquiries are underway to find Anthony, however, attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.
Police are continuing to speak to family and friends and are checking CCTV footage for any additional information which could assist them in their search.

Sergeant Laura Stewart said: “Anthony’s family are understandably concerned and just want to know he is safe and well.
"I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Anthony or who has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact us.
"Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Greenock Police Station via 101."
