A SCHOOL is in shock following the death of one of its pupils.
Devastated classmates and teachers at Strathaven Academy in South Lanarkshire were told the news earlier today.
It is understood the teenager, who is believed to be in fourth year at the school, died on Monday.

The sad news comes just a few days after the end of the summer break.
A spokesperson for South Lanarkshire Council said: “We can confirm that a South Lanarkshire pupil has sadly passed away.
“Support and guidance will be offered to pupils and staff.”
