Firefighters are currently battling a blaze in the Tradeston area of the city.
Four appliances rushed to the scene of 'rubbish fire' at Scotland Street on Tuesday evening.
The street is home to the Scotland Street Museum, which is located in a former school designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh dating back to 1903 and 1906.
It is believed the fire is close to Maclean Heating Supplies.
Police Scotland said they were aware of the incident and that the fire is believed to have started in an empty building.
