TRAFFIC into Glasgow is slow this morning as Traffic Scotland warns motorists to be aware of surface water amid heavy rainfall.
Vehicles are moving slowly along the M77 Glasgow-bound as of 7.22am, from junction 4 Crookfur Road to junction 2 Barrhead Road.

As of 7.30am, traffic was also slow-moving on the M80 southboundat junction 7 Haggs, junction 3 Hornshill and junction 1 Provan.
The M80 northbound at junction 4 Mollinsburn to junction 6 Old Inns was also seeing heavy traffic.

Drivers were warned at 7.36am to drive with caution after a road traffic accident on the M74 northbound at junction 4 Maryville.
Rainy conditions were reported at 7.53am on the M8, with congestion westbound at junction 12 Riddrie to junction 17 Great Western Road.

The M8 eastbound at Glasgow Airport has seen lane three closed after a traffic accident.
