A DERELICT boozer in Glasgow city centre could be demolished by city planners to make way for a car park.
A request to demolish the pub at Broomielaw has been submitted to the local authority this week.
The plans state that once the building is demolished, the area will be used as a temporary car park. The plans also state that this will be for five years.
There has been pubs on the site since 1846 including Mistrel's and the Doune.
The last date for comments on the plans is September 11 and decision is expected to be made by October 19.
