THE Emirates Arena will play host to Great Britain’s Davis Cup World Group play-off against Uzbekistan.
The venue is no stranger to Davis Cup ties, having previously hosted the team’s 2016 semi-final against Argentina, as well as their opening round tie against America and semi-final with Australia en route to becoming Davis Cup champions in 2015.
The play-off from , September 14 to 16 will mark the team’s first Davis Cup home tie since 2016 and will be the first time the Brits and Uzbeks have come up against each other in Davis Cup history.
Paul Bush OBE, Director of Events, said: “EventScotland is delighted to be supporting the return of the Davis Cup to Emirates Arena this September. The support at The Emirates in 2015 and 2016 showed why Scotland is the perfect stage for events of this scale.
"I have no doubt that the play-off will be no different and am sure tennis fans from across the UK and further afield will travel to Glasgow for this vital match.”
