A MASSIVE search is underway for a man who vanished from Wishaw General Hospital.
Thomas Forrest, known locally as Tam, was last seen leaving Wishaw General Hospital around 2pm on Sunday, August 19, walking in the direction of Netherton Street.
The 63-year-old is white, around 5ft. 2 inches in height with a medium build with grey receding hair.
When last seen, he was wearing dark clothes, grey training shoes and possibly carrying a carrier bag.

Extensive enquiries have been undertaken to trace Thomas, from Carlisle Road, Crawford, however attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.
Officers received information that he may have been on board a bus, however that has yet to be confirmed.
Inspector George McCutcheon said: “Thomas, was last seen in Wishaw General Hospital on Sunday afternoon.

"He has not been seen or heard from since and his family is concerned for his well-being.
"We are continuing to speak to family and friends for any information which could assist us in locating Thomas and we know he often visits the Lanark area so we are carrying out enquiries in that location. "
Inspector McCutcheon continued: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the Wishaw Hospital area on Sunday afternoon who may have seen Thomas to get in touch.

"If anyone has any information regarding Thomas or his whereabouts, please do contact us.
"I would also appeal to motorists to review any dash cam footage to see if an image of Thomas has been captured on their footage.”
