A young man has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder his mum in Jordanhill.
Kyle Morrison is alleged to have repeatedly stabbed Sharon Morrison, 51, at a flat in Southbrae Gardens.

The 20-year-old appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court where was accused of repeatedly striking his mum on the head and body with a knife or similar instrument on Wednesday evening.

Morrison, from the city, made no plea and was remanded in custody by sheriff Stuart Reid.
He will appear at court next week for a full committal hearing.
