RANGERS fans have been left ecstatic after their heroes from days gone by appeared in an ad for top designer brand Gucci.

The luxury Italian group unveiled its pre-autumn collection at the start of this month.

But eagle-eyed Gers fans were quick to spot former players, including Tom Forsyth and Alex Miller, in the background of the photo shoot which was posted on social media.

A close-up of the image shows the team, under John Greig, with Davie Cooper, Sandy Jardine and John McDonald.

Supporters of the Ibrox club were left thrilled.

One said on Twitter: “You lovely beautiful staunch b*******.”
