CELTIC supporters group The Green Brigade have been praised after distributing leaflets raising awareness of mental health.
It is understood that the supporters group printed off the leaflets which contained numbers for organisations such as Breathing Space and Brothers in Arms for Sunday's game against Hamilton.
The leaflets, which were left in the standing section, said: "Mental health issues can affect us all on a personal level as as those close to use. Over recent years the number of people treated for mental health issues has increased as the stigma of these illness has decreased in our society.
"However many continue to suffer in silence and feel they cannot put into words the problems that plague them on a daily basis. This may not apply to yourself but may affect your friends, family and those around you today at Celtic Park.
"Many of us are aware of the devastating consequences of those who don't speak out, with more and more people, particularly young men, ending their own lives.
"We must recognise that this is becoming a huge problem and take steps to ensure that we look out for each other, and provide support when we are able to do so.
"On the back of this leaflet we have included useful information for anyone who feels that they are not coping, and we urge you not to suffer in silence."
The leaflet added: "The first step, though difficult, is to open up and talk, and as friends to listen and recognise the warning signs if someone is struggling. No matter how big or small the issue is, the help is out there."
The move received support from a fan on Twitter. Twitter user Mjmxx said: "Well Done to the Green Brigade. This is class. Mental Health Awareness leaflet - on every rail in the standing section today. It’s ok not to be ok!"
