A MUSICAL instrument and equipment library is set to open its doors in Govanhill.
Music Broth – a social enterprise and charitable organisation – will celebrate with a launch party this weekend.
With over 400+ musical items in its community library, and additional services such as delivery and collection, and maintenance and repair, this is the next step to creating musical opportunities for all.

The open day will feature live performances by acclaimed local musicians, and will give everyone a chance to try their hand at an instrument. There will also be refreshments and activities for children, including face painting and upcycled crafts.
Felix Slavin and Jen O’Brien, co-founders of Music Broth, said: “Establishing this first musical instrument and equipment library has been made possible through the amazing response we’ve had from the people of Glasgow and wider Scotland in donating their unused or unwanted musical equipment into our library.
"We welcome anyone to come and get involved with us."
The launch party will take place this Sunday, September 2, between 1-5pm at Unit 7, Victoria Court Workspaces, 8 Hollybrook Street, Govanhill.
