MOTORISTS travelling into Glasgow are being warned to expect delays caused by extra traffic on Wednesday.
Glasgow Summer Sessions – featuring Kendrick Lamar – will take place at Bellahouston Park and dozens of roads will be closed throughout Mosspark and Bellahouston as the concert gets underway.
From 10am on August 29 to 2am on August 30, the following closures will be in place:
1. Mosspark Boulevard, between Dumbreck Road and Corkerhill Road,
2. Bellahouston Drive (Southbound), between Mosspark Boulevard and Paisley Road West,
3. Skene Road, for its entire length,
4. Ardo Gardens, for its entire length,
5. Hinshelwood Drive, between Skene Road and Broomloan Road.
From 10.15pm until midnight on August 29, the following closures will be in place:
1. Dumbreck Road, between Paisley Road West and the Northbound M77 off Ramp to Dumbreck Road,
2. M8 off Ramp (Westbound) Junction 23 to Dumbreck Road,
3. Nithsdale Road, between Dumbreck Road and Maxwell Drive,
4. Paisley Road West, between Helen Street and Dumbreck Road.
From 8am until midnight on August 29, the following road closures will be in place (except for local access):
1. Dumbreck Square,
2. Dumbreck Avenue,
3. Dumbreck Place,
4. Torridon Avenue West,
5. Fleurs Avenue North,
6. Fleurs Avenue South,
7. Torridon Avenue East,
8. Dargarvel Avenue North,
9. Dargarvel Avenue South,
10. Melfort Avenue,
11. Torridon Avenue North,
12. Erskine Avenue,
13. Urrdale Road,
14. Mosspark Boulevard at Dumbreck Road,
15. Mosspark Boulevard at Bellahouston Drive,
16. Bellahouston Drive at Mosspark Boulevard,
17. Arisaig Drive,
18. Alness Crescent,
19. Jura Street,
20. Dunellan Street,
21. Morven Street,
22. Barfillan Drive,
23. Maryland Drive,
24. Lora Drive,
25. Corkerhill Place,
26. Kirkdale Drive,
27. Moness Drive,
28. Ladybank Drive,
29. Midlock Street,
30. Cessnock Street,
