GLASGOW shoppers had a lucky escape when masonry fell onto a busy street below.
Police taped off part of Buchanan Street – near the Diesel store – until the debris was cleared up.
The incident happened earlier on this evening.
No one is believed to be injured.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed officers were called at 5.10pm after reports of 'several bits of masonry falling from a building'.
Glasgow City Council building control were then called to the scene.
