TWO men brutally attacked a man and a woman at a house in Clydebank.

Police are now appealing for information following the serious assault in Attlee Avenue.

At around 1.30am this morning, the victims were within a house when they were attacked and seriously assaulted by two men.

Officers are currently carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the area, as well as checking CCTV.

Detective Inspector Andy Gibson, from Clydebank Police Office, said: “The injured man and woman sustained serious injuries during the attack and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“Our enquiries are at an early stage to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and more details on the men responsible.

“At this time, I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Attlee Avenue around the time of the incident on Tuesday morning who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously, or who has any information that will assist our investigation."
