THE board of the Scottish Football Association is meeting today to decide the future of Hampden Park.
Yesterday morning the seven members of the governing body’s board met to hear the bid from the Scottish Rugby Union who want to snatch the top matches in Scottish football away from Glasgow to Murrayfield.
In the afternoon they heard the details of the bid from Hampden Park Ltd who want the association to remain at The National Stadium.
Neither the SRU or Hampden Park have made details of their submissions to the SFA public.

Six men and one woman on the board will have Hampden’s fate in their hands today.
The seven members are Alan McRae, SFA President a former chairman of Cove Rangers in the Highland League, Ian Maxwell, SFA Chief Executive, former Partick Thistle General Manager and a former Queen’s Park player, Rod Petrie vice-president and Chairman of Hibernian, Neil Doncaster, chief executive of the SPFL, Mike Mulraney, Alloa Athletic chairman, Thomas McKeown, of the Scottish Amateur FA and Ana Stewart, non-executive director who has a business background in marketing and customer engagement.
