A MAN is in a serious condition in hospital after he was struck by a motorcycle in Glasgow' South Side.
The 57-year-old was hit after crossing Paisley Road West near to Mosspark Boulevard on Tuesday at around 7pm.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
The motorcyclist was uninjured but he has been left badly shaken by the incident.
Police Scotland said an investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to contact them.
Officers are also appealing to motorists with dash cams to check their footage as it may have details which could assist in the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call officers at the Road Policing Unit, Helen Street, via 101, quoting incident number 3291 of 28 August 2018.
