ALMOST 90% of patients are happy with the care they receive in Glasgow’s hospitals, a new poll suggests.
Patients were asked about their experiences of the NHS for the Scottish Inpatient Experience Survey.
This postal survey covers the period from April to September 2017 and includes; admission to hospital, the hospital and ward, care and treatment, staff, arrangements for leaving hospital and care and support services after being discharged. More than 20,000 patients completed the poll.
The bi-annual survey recorded an 85% positivity rating in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
NHSGGC’s Nurse Director, Dr Margaret Mcguire said: “I am very pleased to see evidence that more of our patients are pleased with the levels of care as this reflects our focus that patients are at the centre of everything we do.”
