THE body of a teenage boy has been discovered in Kilmarnock.
Police made the grim discovery shortly before 2pm on Tuesday in a wooded area near to busy Queens Drive.
The family of the 15-year-old have been made aware.

There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Shortly before 2pm on Tuesday, August 28, the body of a 15-year-old boy was found within a wooded area near to Queens Drive, Kilmarnock.
"His relatives have been made aware.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
