DETECTIVES are searching for a mystery man who claims to have information about a vicious knife attack which left a man in hospital.
The man contacted Govan CID on Monday but did not provide contact details and advised officers he would be in touch again.
However, he is yet to reach out and police are keen for him to come forward.
The man claims to have information on the attempted murder in Riverview Place where it meets Riverview Drive around 7.20pm on Saturday, August 25.

As previously reported by the Evening Times, the victim is understood to be 59-year-old well-known property tycoon Frankie 'Donuts' Donaldson.
He remains in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Medical staff have described his condition as stable.
Police Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the individuals involved in this incident and Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Operation Engagement via 101, quoting incident number 3791 of Saturday, August 25.
