Those heading to and from the capital today are facing delays as trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow Central are set to be majorly disrupted until the end of the day.
The disruption has stemmed from a shortage of train crew between Glasgow and Shotts which has seen several trains cancelled all together.
The following trains have been cancelled:
14:57 Edinburgh to Glasgow Central
17:58 Edinburgh to Glasgow Central
16:16 Glasgow Central to Edinburgh
17:02 Glasgow Central to Edinburgh
Customers can still travel on trains between Queen Street High & Low Levels and Edinburgh in both directions as these are not affected.
Scotrail said: "To keep you on the move when we have to cancel a service we have ticket acceptance arrangements in place on several bus services.
"We are sorry that you have been delayed today, you can make a claim if you have been delayed over 30 minutes by visiting scotrail.co.uk."
