A SHATTERED Renfrew family is raising funds in a desperate bit to get married with their terminally-ill baby by their side.
Aaron Hosie has been battling a soft tissue sarcoma cancer, known as Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, since he was eight weeks old - spending almost all of his short life in hospital.
However, specialists have now told devastated parents David Hosie and Lisa Moore there is no further treatment for the 18-month-old, prompting the pair to reach out for help.
Pal Claire Speirs has set up a JustGiving page to allow the family-of-five to make memories with little Aaron for as long as he has left and one memory the clan are desperate to make together is to have the duo marry in front of Aaron and his olders brothers, aged seven and 10.
She said: “As Aaron became ill at such a young age, he has never led a normal life, and has missed out on a number of special moments as a result of spending a lot of time in hospital undergoing treatment.

"Since finishing chemotherapy treatment, he has now started walking, as the intense treatment had previously prevented him from being able to do so.
“David and Lisa have decided that they would like to create a special memory while the whole family is together, by getting married while Aaron is still able to be there.
"We think it will be a lovely way for family and close friends to all get together and spend precious time with Aaron while they can.”
A previous crowdfunding venture to raise £3,000 in order to have the tot treated in America was successful however, it's not known if the youngster was able to make the journey.
The family’s focus now is on making the remainder of Aaron's life the best yet, and Claire is hopeful those across the city will pull together to help.

On the JustGiving page she wrote: "He has fought this cancer along with his mum and dad for almost his whole life and now its time to think about giving Aaron the best time possible with his mum, dad, brothers and the rest of the family who love him so very much.
"He is possibly one of the most incredible people I have ever met as he has fought so hard and always kept a smile for all who love him.
"I'm asking you to help me take money out of the equation at a time like this. David and Lisa are incredible but they shouldn't have to worry about time off work as well what their son is going through, or the bills or if they can afford to give Aaron the experiences that children his age should have."
Claire hopes the JustGiving page - which has already brought in £5,485 of its £10,000 target - will help to raise money for both experiences for the family in the coming months, and toward getting the wedding arranged as soon as possible.
