HUNDREDS of people applied for 15 jobs at a new Pets at Home store in East Kilbride.
The chain has opened at East Kilbride Retail Park and includes a Groom Room, which offers microchipping, nail clipping or a full bath and blow dry by stylists.
A total of 330 people applied for the jobs.
Area Manager, Annie Campbell, said: “There was a strong demand from East Kilbride pet owners for Pets at Home to come to town."
