A MAJOR fast food restaurant chain has signalled an interest in opening up in Silverburn Shopping Centre.
An application for planning permission to take over unit 34 as a restaurant in the South Side shopping centre was submitted to Glasgow City Council this week.
The application states that the restaurant would be a KFC.
The American firm specialise in fried chicken and is the world's second-largest restaurant chain after McDonald's.
City planners are expected to make a decision on the plans by October 26.
