CONCERN is growing for a teenage girl who has been missing from the Pollokshields area of Glasgow for several days.
Caitlin Murray, 17, was last seen on Tuesday, August 28. Cops investigating her disappearance, however, say there was an unconfirmed sighting of her at around 4pm on Wednesday, August 29 in Westmoreland Street near to Allison Street.
She is described as white, 5ft 2 inches with very long red dyed red hair. She was wearing a black bomber jacket with fur around the hood and black trousers or jeans.
Inspector Andrew Durnin, at Cathcart Police Station, said: “It is out of character for Caitlin to be out of contact with her family for such a long period of time and as such we are becoming increasingly concerned.
“Anyone who has seen her since 2am on Tuesday, August 28 or knows of her present whereabouts is asked to contact police at Cathcart Police Office via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 1178 of 29 August 2018.
“I also appeal to Caitlin to get in touch with her family or police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
