Rangers legend Nacho Novo has cleared up rumours about police visiting his bar this week.

The former player assured customers and fans that the NN10 Bar and Lounge on Paisley Road was open for business despite the police visiting on Wednesday 29.

Novo hinted that there had been some ridiculous rumours relating to the police visit but did not specify what these had been.

The police had allegedly only visited the bar to check the CCTV in relation to a missing persons enquiry.

Glasgow Times:

In a Facebook post the ex-Gers star wrote: "The police visited the bar last night to check out CCTV for a missing person.

"Not for some of the reasons quoted in the ridiculous rumours we’ve heard.

"We can assure everyone we’re open, ready to go and absolutely buzzing for a huge week for the famous.

"We hope you all are too and come along for a drink with us at NN10."

Several fans took the chance to comment on the post to tell the Light Blues legend that they would be heading to his pub to watch the Old Firm.

One punter wrote: "Looking forward to watching the old firm for the first time in the pub on Sunday."

Another added: "Shall be there with the hubby to watch the old firm on sunday!"

Novo is often spotted in the bar mingling with the punters and watching the football.
