A woman has been left with serious injuries after being attacked by a man in Ibrox.
The 53-year-old woman was assaulted on Ibrox Street around 9am on Sunday morning.
Police were called to the scene and the injured woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she is being treated for facial and upper body injuries.

Hospital staff describe her condition as serious but stable.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft 8 inches in height and of stocky build with receding brown hair.
He was wearing a green anorak and grey jogging trousers at the time of the attack.
Detective Constable Kris Elliott of Govan Police Office said: “Enquiries are at an early stage into this incident and at this time, I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault take place, or who has any information that may assist the police investigation to contact Govan Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 1388 of 2nd September.
