Barrhead Foundry swimming pool reopens today after a major makeover.
The centre is celebrating its reopening with a free Family Fun Day on Saturday September 8
A range of activities will be on offer in the water and on dry land including free swimming and free swimming assessments to match their child to the right class.
Bookbug will be hosted at the adjoining library at 10.30am, followed by Little Splashers at 11.30am for babies and toddlers in the new pool.
Free swimming will be available from 9am-2.15pm.
Anthony McReavy, Chief Executive of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “We’re celebrating the new swimming facilities at Barrhead Foundry with a pool party – and want everyone to join us for some free family fun.
“We’d like to thank our customers for their patience during these works and hope that they’ll really enjoy the new facilities we have on offer.”
