POLICE Scotland is investing a “suspect package” call as “malicious” after a Glasgow high school was evacuated yesterday morning.
Emergency services raced to Rosshall Academy in Crookston after receiving a call shortly after 8am about a package.
They quickly began searching the school which was cordoned off.
Several fire appliances and police vehicles were in attendance, including dogs.

Worried parents of children were told the school had been evacuated and that they had to pick up their children.
A short statement from the school on Twitter just after 9am said: “Rosshall Academy has had to be evacuated. Parents and carers have been contacted by text. We will update later today.”
The text read: “Rosshall Acad. Unfortunately we have had to evacuate the school. Please make arrangements to have your child collected or for them to go home.”
Some witnesses at the scene reported seeing bomb disposal units arriving.
Parents took to social media to ask the school for more information with some reporting that their children said there had been a bomb threat.
Crookston Road was closed to all traffic between Paisley Road West and the school due to the incident.
Road users had been advised to consider alternate routes where possible.
