A PROPOSAL of application notice for a huge new retail and leisure complex in Cumbernauld have been submitted to the council.
The plans by Promontoria Holding reveal that the development of the Westway Retail Park would have cinema, commercial leisure, hotel, food/beverage, retail, car showroom and business incubator uses.
Those behind the plans said they hope to hold a public consultation to reveal more about their proposal.

It is the proposed that the consultation events will take place in Muirfield Community Centre on October 5 from 2pm to 6pm and Westway Retail Park on October 6 from 10am to 2pm.
The proposal of application notice is submitted to a local authority in Scotland 12 weeks prior to the submission of the planning application.
