A MAN was 'stabbed' during a large-scale street fight outside a city boozer after the Old Firm.
The 54-year-old was attacked outside the Park Lane bar on Hope Street in Glasgow City Centre at around 9.50pm on Sunday.
Police said the man refused medical treatment and had puncture wound injuries.
A post circulating social media however claimed that a Rangers fan was stabbed on the way home from the pub.
The post also claimed that Celtic fans were involved in the fight.
The force said that one line of enquiry was that the incident was football related.
A force spokesman said: "Police were called to a report of a large scale disturbance. A 54-year-old received serious injuries but he refused medical treatment.
"A 31-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident but later released.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
