TRAFFIC into Glasgow is “heavy” this morning, according to Traffic Scotland.
The trunk road traffic service said on Twitter: “M77 traffic heavy #Glasgow bound @ 07:35

There was also congestion on the M8 at 7.47am.

The routes affected were M8 westbound at junction 12 Riddrie to junction 16 Craighall, and also eastbound junction 29 St James to junction 27 Arklseton. The same applied for junction 25 Cardonald to junction 19 Anderston.
The M80 was also looking busy just before 8am.

Traffic was slow-moving southbound from junction 2 Robroyston to junction 1 Provan, and also northbound from junction 4 Mollinsburn to junction 6 Old Inns.
