AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after four schoolboys were robbed of their mobile phones in "terrifying" incidents in Glasgow's south side.
As previously reported by the Evening Times, the youngsters were targeted near Queens Park on Monday.
Around 3.30pm, two boys, aged 11 and 15-years-old, were walking along James Gray Street when they were approached by a man who threatened them and took their mobile phones.
Twenty minutes later a 12-year-old boy also had his phone snatched on Langside Avenue near to Tantallon Road.

Then at 3.55pm, a 14-year-old boy was robbed of his phone on Langside Avenue near to The Ivory Hotel.
The suspect is described as Asian, with a local accent, around 5ft 9ins to 6ft, of slim to medium build.
He had facial stubble and was wearing dark coloured clothing and a black baseball cap.
Detective Sergeant Colin Kilgour, Divisional Robbery Unit, said: “Thankfully the victims were not physically hurt but this was still a terrifying experience and it is vital that we trace the individual responsible.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and perhaps witnessed any of the robberies, or seen a man matching the description.
“If you know anything that can help us in our enquiries, please do come forward and contact us.”
