Police seal off shopping street in Glasgow City Centre
HORRIFIED onlookers watched on as a man was assaulted in broad daylight in one of the city's busiest shopping streets.
Police rushed to Sauchiehall Street at around 12.45pm after receiving reports of an assault.
The Evening Times understands that both the victim and suspect left the scene before police arrived.
Two officers stood guard at the cordon close to the Vodafone shop as they began their investigation into the incident.
Police Scotland said: "Enquires are ongoing."
