Police have concluded that there was "no criminality" after launching a probe in relation to an alleged sex attack in the city centre this morning.

Police cordoned off West Regent Lane this morning (Tuesday) after receiving reports that a woman had been sexually assaulted.

The force said the enquiry was at an early stage and they did not provide an age for the victim.
