A POPULAR dessert parlour has announced its reopening date after the Glasgow School of Art fire.
Deesserts was one of the businesses affected by the cordon on Sauchiehall Street following the fire in June.
The blaze destroyed the Glasgow School of Art Mackintosh building, stopped businesses from trading due to a safety cordon and displaced residents of Garnethill.
The eatery took to social media to tell fans that they will reopen on September 7.
The post said: "Great news for all our deessertarians! We're opening back up on Friday, September 7 at 1pm. See you all soon."
We reported yesterday that Vodafone has told customers that their last day on Sauchiehall Street will be September 7.
The firm said they made the decision due to the proximity of the Buchanan Street store.
