Rangers legend Nacho Novo has swapped the thrill of a stadium packed with fans for the thrill of the open road.
The 38-year-old was in good spirits this week after getting his full motorcycle licence at a Glasgow training centre.
The centre shared images of the Rangers hero smiling with his certificate on their Facebook page.
They captioned the image: "Nacho Novo now a “Real Biker” lol.
"Simply The Best" came to the Best in the West! Alba Motorcycle Training Glasgow?"
After suffering a heart attack at the beginning of the year, the Spaniard has put most of his time and energy into his Gers pub, NN10 situated near Ibrox.
However, the former player told the Daily Record that getting his motorcycle licence has helped "give him a new lease of life".
The Alba MTA centre in Glasgow were chuffed that the Light Blues legend had chosen them and were quick to spread the word, the said: "Well done Nacho Novo on completing your Full Licence today.
"Nacho now tearing up the tarmac as opposed to up the park!"
Novo was featuring for Rangers in the AOK Traditionsmasters 2018 in Berlin when he suffered a heart attack in January after his team had been knocked out of the round-robin tournament.
He was reportedly rushed to hospital from the Max-Schmeling-Halle arena before undergoing emergency surgery.
