COURIERS for one of Glasgow's favourite fast food delivery services will strike on Monday.
UberEats staff will walk out in response to the firm reducing pay.
At present, couriers are paid per delivery with a bonus, known as a "boost, on top of the base rate of £2.80 which increases a driver's pay to around £4 per delivery - or more in remote areas.
Uber have removed the boost altogether in most of Glasgow, which couriers say make it impossible to earn minimum wage even with back-to-back orders and no waiting time, it is hard to earn even minimum wage.

Staff say similar pattern of gradually reducing boosts has been taking place around the UK.
One courier said: "We need to show Uber that we're not a pushover. Our job is hard and potentially dangerous.
"When they reduce pay it encourages us to take risks, with the customer's food and our own safety. If we don't stand up to them now, who knows who far they will squeeze us."

The couriers striking are organised with the Couriers Network Glasgow.
AN Uber spokesperson said: "Uber Eats offers a flexible way for couriers to make money by simply logging in and out of the app when and where they choose.
"This summer couriers using our app in Glasgow took home an average of more than £9 per hour with many also using other delivery apps. We offer weekly boosts during busy meal times but a technical issue last week meant that these were not visible in the app for two days.
"We have since fixed the issue and made sure that couriers affected did not lose out.
"Our door is always open for feedback and we host regular events with local couriers to discuss questions or address any issues they're having."
