A flight heading for Glasgow airport declared an on-board emergency this afternoon as it made its approach.
The Flybe plane BE786, which took off from Birmingham Airport at 12.24pm was set to land in Glasgow at 1.34pm this afternoon.
However on approach the flight reportedly put in an emergency call to the airport due to a medical situation on board the plane.
A Glasgow Airport spokesman told the Evening Times: "The Flybe flight put out a call because of a medical situation on board regarding a male passenger.
"We sent our emergency services to meet the flight as it landed as they are our first responders for incidents such as this."
