Hundreds of millions of pounds worth of construction contracts are up for grabs from Glasgow City Council.
Tenders are being invited for work covering roads, bridges and lighting work across the city.
The total worth of the works is £242million which the council said will boost the economy and help create and sustain jobs.
It includes road surfacing and treatments for pavements, and streetscaping contracts.
Anti-skid re-surfacing and temporary traffic management systems and also included.
Bridge maintenance and other structural work is available as well as work on repainting lamp posts and some restoration to older heritage lamp posts.
Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council, said: “These major contracts will bring jobs and opportunities for local people and organisations to work on projects that improve Glasgow’s economy in the short and long-term. I would invite all those interested in bidding for these contracts to visit the procurement website.”
