A MAN has been arrested after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in a city park.
Police Scotland confirmed today that they have arrested and charged a 29-year-old in connection with the incident.
We previously reported that a 29-year-old victim was allegedly sexually assaulted in Kelvingrove Park on Sunday at around 1.35am by a man.
A woman came to the victim's aid shortly after the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, September 7.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
