MIDNIGHT Train to Georgia star Gladys Knight will perform a show in Glasgow next year.
The legendary soul star will be at the city's Royal Concert Hall on July 1.
She also known for hits Help Me Make It Through The Night, Licence To Kill, The Way We Were, Baby Don’t’ Change Your Mind and You’re The Best Thing (that ever happened to me).
She began her music career in the 1950ss when she performed alongside her brother, sister and cousins in ‘The Pips’.
In 1959, Gladys Knight and The Pips performed under their new name and they secured their first big hit in America with a cover version of Every Beat of My Heart.
The award-winning singer, author, restaurateur and spokeswoman has recorded more than 40 albums and enjoyed number one hits on the pop, gospel, R&B and contemporary charts.
Tickets for the show priced £65, £55 and £45 go on sale on Thursday at 9am.
