A TOUCHING letter from a dog paying tribute to his former owner after he died following a battle with Alzheimers has gone viral.
The letter was posted by Paisley based Twitter user Kieran Hamilton.
He told his followers on Twitter: "We had to rehome my Grandad’s dog early last year when he was diagnosed with Alzheimers. Sadly he passed away a couple of weeks ago, this came in the post today."

The letter read: "Hello, I'm on my holidays in Spain. I'm sorry to hear about my Dad. He was very kind to me. Lots of Love Winston."
