FORMER Celtic player Frank McAvennie has waded into the Roxanne Pallett Celebrity Big Brother punch row.

The ex-striker said the Emmerdale actress “deserves every bit of stick she’s getting.”

The 58-year-old’s comments come as the actress continues to receive backlash after accusing soap star Ryan Thomas, 34, of punching her.

McAvennie said: he “felt sick” watching the events unfold on Channel 5 and “felt so sorry for Ryan.”
