A NEW adult crazy golf venue with street food vendors and a bar is due to open up with Kinning Park.
Fore Play Crazy Golf will open its doors to the public on September 22.
The venue will feature a nine hole crazy golf park alongside street food vendors, with a 250 seating area, and a bar.
The brainchild of former banker Craig Neilson and economist Kasia Majkut, Fore Play Crazy Golf follows on the footsteps of the London trend where crazy golf bars are very much in vogue.
The venue, which features a £250,000 makeover, is set to offer special themed nights including discounts for students and date nights for those searching for love, with Sundays reserved for families.
Food vendors include the Prague Shack which specialises in traditional Czech food with a Scottish twist. The new venue is an expansion for the Edinburgh based food company into the west. Run by husband and wife team, Vincent and Barboara Stepanka, its distinct truck is known for festival and event appearances all over Scotland.
Craig Neilson, Fore Play Crazy Golf, said: “We know how Glaswegians love a night out and we hope that the combo of crazy golf, food, good value, not to mention the bar, will offer the perfect ingredients for an alternative night out. Similar to table tennis, crazy golf has taken the London scene by storm and we expect it to be embraced in Glasgow.
“We have lots of plans for future events, especially for Christmas, and are looking forward to opening the doors.”
